“Make every attempt to pray from the heart. Even if you do not succeed, the effort is precious in God’s eyes.”


  • What does it mean to “pray from the heart?” Can you really fail to do so if you try?
  • Have you ever been unable to pray? What did you do?
  • What part of prayer most moves you – the words? The music? The community? Something else?
